Biography

Ángel Ódena’s recent and future engagements include the title role in Rigoletto at Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona) conducted by maestro Riccardo Frizza, Iago in Otello at Teatro Real de Madrid under the baton of renowned Italian conductor Renato Palumbo, Amonasro in Aida also at Teatro Real de Madrid next to conductor Nicola Luisotti and staging of Hugo de Ana, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor at Opéra de Lausanne with Maestro Jesús López-Cobos and Stefano Poda’s staging. Further highlights include his debut as Scarpia in Tosca at Ópera de Oviedo, Alfio in Cavalleria Rusticana in Barcelona, Iago in Pamplona and Córdoba with Gregory Kunde, Ford in Falstaff in Madrid conducted by Daniele Rustioni and staging by Laurent Pelly or Amonasro in Oviedo.
