Biography

Born in Michoacán, Mexico, this young baritone has sung in numerous productions of the Palau de les Arts in Valencia: Turandot (Ping) by Puccini, under the baton of Zubin Mehta and was recorded for later editing on the Decca label; L'Italiana in Algeri (Ali) by Rossini, under the direction of Ottavio Dantone; L'incoronazione di Dario (Niceno) by Vivaldi, under the musical direction of Federico Maria Sardelli and the scene by Davide Livermore; Manon Lescaut (Sergeant) by Puccini, with Placido Domingo (with audio recording) and La Traviata (Commissioner) by Verdi, under the baton of Zubin Mehta. In addition, also in Spain, he has performed The King who Rabió (Governor) at the Teatro Principal in Valencia, under the baton of Enrique García Asensio.
 
Among his recent performances and upcoming commitments are a recital with the Verum Orchestra at El Escorial, Turandot at the Teatro del Silenzio, La Bohème at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Otello at the Calderón Theater in Valladolid , Don Carlo in the Theaters of the Canal, L'elisir d'amore in the Grand Theater of Cordoba and Lucrezia Borgia in ABAO-Euskalduna Palace.
 
Recently he made his debut with great success in a leading role in Spain, with his interpretation of Lescaut of Manon Lescaut by Puccini, at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, under the baton of the Maestro Placido Domingo, and has also performed El Capitan in the zarzuela Luisa Fernanda, in a cast in which Maestro Placido Domingo also participated.
 
He made his debut in 2013 at the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico with the role of Escamillo (Carmen), under the baton of Srba Dinic. 
 

In his native country, he has interpreted works as different as Le Nozze di Figaro (Il Conte di Almaviva) by Mozart, under the baton of Ivan Lopez Reynoso,La Bohème (Marcello) by Puccini, with Enrique Patron de Rueda, Turandot (Ping) by Puccini in the Palace of Fine Arts, Amahl and the nights visitors (Baltazar) by Gian Carlo Menotti, L’Elisir d’amore (Dulcamara) by Donizetti, La Serva Padrona (Huberto) by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, La del Soto del parral (Damián) by Soutullo and Vert, Alice in Wonderland (Caterpillar) and Mahler's 8th Symphony under the baton of Jesus Medina.
